WR Arts is a 501(c)3 organization that provides performing and visual arts enrichment classes and programming to public schools in Brooklyn's District 14. Our program gives students a chance to explore their kinesthetic awareness through dance, find their voice through drama & vocal training, as well as encouraged personal confidence & individuality just through shared participation, and build community through artistic collaboration.

Class Descriptions
Intro to Hip Hop: Through energetic choreography and rhythmic movements, students explore the foundations and techniques of hip hop. They learn to embody the style, precision, and attitude that define this popular dance genre.
Hip Hop I: A street style dance class with a strong foundation of movement techniques that consist of grooves, rythms, and dynamics. Introduction to commercial dance technique as well as the history of Hip Hop dance and music.
World Traveler: Our core cultural exploration class. Students "travel" and explore different parts of the world, focusing on it's performance and artistic traditions.
Art Making: This class gives students a chance to explore a wide range of media including collage, painting, drawing, sculpture and more.
